RIP "TPB"

November 17, 2009 signals the end of the largest tracker site on the net. The Pirate Bay team announced that its shutting down for good. Although the site will remain up for who knows how long, millions of BitTorrent users will lose the use of its tracker and will instead have to rely on trackers to continue downloading. So what does this basically mean to the pirating community, almost nothing. Pirating will always exist and as such losing a tracker site just mean having to find another. This is nothing more then a proverbial speed bump. Never-the-less my condolences go out to the owners of "thepiratebay.org" May a chorus of angels guide thy up to thy rest. Good night sweet prince, good night
